Dr. Roy Walford's Research

Roy L. Walford M.D. was internationally recognized as an authority in gerontology and nutrition as related to life extension and disease prevention. He was a recipient of the 2004 Irvine S Wright Award of Distinction, presented posthumously from the American Federation for Aging Research; and the 2004 Lifetime Scientific Achievement award presented by Integrative Medical Therapeutics for Anti-Aging Medicine.

Dr. Walford was also a bestselling author of "Beyond the 120 Year Diet, Maximum Lifespan and The Anti-Aging Plan", and was widely published in the scientific literature. His research was supported by the National Institutes of Health. The Washington Post has stated "The implications of the research are enormous".
